 Wandering, a common behavior in individuals with dementia, involves aimless or purposeful locomotion, often leading to disorientation and potential safety risks according to Wikipedia. Amazon carries a large source of diapers and incontinence bed pads.  We have found the the brand TENA is best for diapers along with an overnight pad by the same company.  From experience, TENA overnight underwear and overnight pads have shown to be the best and can be found on Amazon and also at Walmart.  The overnight brand is the best. Disposable underpads or chucks, can be supplied by the state, if you have the proper state insurance.

In the Coachella Valley, seniors can find free or reduced-fare transportation options through programs like SunLine Transit Agency's Half-Fare Program and Taxi Voucher Program, as well as through specialized services like Dial-A-Ride. Additionally, some medical transportation companies offer free rides to seniors through partnerships with health insurance providers.

REWIn the Coachella Valley, if you need to surrender a senior pet, several options are available. The Palm Springs Animal Shelter (PSAS) accepts pets from Palm Springs residents, while the Coachella Valley Animal Campus (CVAC) serves the unincorporated areas and contracted cities.  Animal Samaritans is a no-kill shelter that primarily focuses on smaller dogs and cats.
